Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in April 2015 for his friend and the boyfriend to his fiancé’s sister, Odin Lloyd in 2013. Though he didn’t come from the best background, Hernandez dominated football fields since his days on the Bristol Central High School football team. The 27 year old point guard led the Golden State Warriors to win their first championship win in 40 years in 2015. Steph Curry also became the second player in Warriors history to receive the MVP award of 2015 for hitting an astonishing 268 3-point shots during the season.
