Floyd and Tiny were friends for years, but that came to an end during Memorial Day weekend in 2014 when T.I. accused Floyd of having an affair with his wife.
Tiny and her friend/hairstylist Shekinah Jo attended Floyd’s boxing match earlier that month on May 4th. They then attended a private birthday party for Floyd’s then 14 year old daughter Iyanna.
In an interview with NecoleBitchie.com, Floyd said T.I. initially confronted him at a NYC jewelry store to discuss Tiny:
“[T.I] came to me when I was in New York. He stepped to me when I was at the jewelry store like, ‘Yo, let’s go outside and talk.’” Mayweather recalled. “We went outside to talk, but he talked about, basically, ‘These girls tryna play us against each other.’ I said, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re talking about your wife?’ I never put up a picture of her on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I was basically like, ‘Listen. I’m letting you know I ain’t got…me and your wife don’t have nothing…if you think so.’”
T.I. later confronted Floyd again and the two nearly came to blows as their entourages tossed chairs at each other and tumbled around a Las Vegas Fatburger restaurant:
“I’m eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, he walk in talking about we need to talk again,” Mayweather said. “And then I told him, ‘You need to get the f–k outta my face. That’s what you better do.’ And then he said, ‘I ain’t talking to all these people so you ain’t gotta talk loud.’ I said, ‘Listen, don’t come to my face with no disrespectful s–t. Like I told you before, you must’ve forgot what I did for a living.’ He said, ‘You do it in the ring, I do it in the streets.’ I said, ‘My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.’ Just like that.”

Floyd then addressed the fight with T.I., telling T.I. to “control your bitch”:
Floyd later apologized for calling Tiny a “bitch”, but the damage was already done. At the year’s BET Awards, Floyd tried to speak to Tiny, but being the good wife that she is, she curved him:
“Only person I wanna apologize towards is Tiny,” Mayweather explained. “I said something like ‘control your b—h’ and I don’t want to say that about Tiny. So I do apologize to Tiny because she cool people, man. She cool. She never been disrespectful to me.”
Eventually Floyd and Tiny were able to mend their friendship privately and in March 2015, Tiny’s friend Shekinah posted screenshots of her facetiming Floyd, captioning it “I had to FaceTime my big bro @floydmayweather and laugh with him about these haters”. T.I. responded in his own Instagram posts, allegedly calling Shekinah a “bum bitch” and making threats.
Tiny has since stayed mum after being exposed for lying about rekindling her friendship with Floyd, but as we can see, her real friends got her back.
