Interesting fact: Jhonni’s blaze new stage name is not just an Instagram moniker. It’s her real name. The 27 year old reality star and musician was born into a military family with a German and Black mother and Black father, and named Jzapal Vonkrishna Jackson.
Now on to the tea:
Jhonni Blaze says despite Kash Doll alluding that she has no problem with Cardi B, she does. Jhonni Blaze says both she and Kash Doll were supposed to work under Jhonni’s manager Deb Antney as artists. During that time, Jhonni overheard phone conversations between Kash Doll and other people prior to Kash calling out Cardi, where Kash belittle Cardi’s success. During one conversation, Kash Doll said on the phone she felt Cardi B was trying to be like her, as they both are strippers-turned rappers with a sexy gangsta chick image.
When Jhonni Blaze reposted Cardi’s music video for “Foreva”, she received a text from Kash saying “why you put her video up? That’s not what we do on our team”.
Kash pretends to be all for the empowerment of women in Hip Hop, but only for connections and publicity. Kash then told Deb Antney that she wouldn’t work with Deb as long as Deb worked with Jhonni. Since Deb had already experienced this type of ultimatum while managing Nicki Minaj, she decided she wasn’t going to let another artist tell her who she couldn’t work with and decided to part ways with Kash Doll.
Jhonni also revealed K. Michelle invited Jhonni to L.A. so the two could connect outside of music, but when K. Michelle’s then-boyfriend Bobby Maze requested both of them, Jhonni declined, as she only had eyes for K. She said she and K. never got to explore each other because of that incident. When she returned home, Jhonni saw that K. Michelle had blocked her.
Jhonni Blaze also touched on her past relationships with Rich Dollaz and Katt Williams, explaining why she would date a bisexual man and transpeople, and why she hasn’t been back on Love & Hip Hop.
