As posted to TeaServedCold’s Instagram page yesterday, Officer Jonathan Aledda is a member of Miami’s SWAT Team and has been on the force for 4 years. As I also reported, Aledda issued an apology to Kinsey, claiming he wasn’t aiming at Kinsey, but at the autistic patient, Rinaldo.

Yet, Kinsey who was bleeding out of his gunshot wound to the leg, was still handcuffed and left on the hot concrete for 20 minutes until help arrived.

Aledda has been placed on administrative leave (temporary leave from a job assignment with pay and benefits intact), while his partner, Officer Emile Hollant has been suspended without pay due to giving out misinformation about the shooting. Seems fair, doesn’t it?

Police didn’t initially identify Officer Aledda as the shooter, claiming Aledda was receiving death threats.
