A Bad Boys 3 AND 4 are in the works!! Bad Boys 3 will be released on February 17, 2017 (for the side chicks Valentine’s day dates?) and Bad Boys 4 will hit theaters July 3, 2019. I’m ready to see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence back together again.
Another classic, Jumanji, is also set to release Christmas day 2016. Sony says this will be a REMAKE, not a sequel to the original film, but I’m hoping the kids from the first film are starring as the adults. Comedians Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy and Anna Faris of the Scary Movie comedies will join Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters, with an all female ghost fighting crew, premiering July 15, 2016.
AND a live action Barbie film is also being released by Sony Pictures. Though no cast members have been revealed, it’s been RUMORED Blake Lively of Gossip Girl is in the running to play Barbie. The film is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2017. BELOW are dates for all of Sony’s upcoming films:
