#BEYCHELLA: Beyoncé Turned Coachella Into A HBCU Homecoming With The BLACKEST Performance Ever!! [PICS, MEMES & VIDEO]

Beyoncé had everyone up at 3AM getting our entire life and now we’re trying to figure out how to go back to sleep after this woke ass performance.

Beyoncé bought the culture of the HBCU to Coachella, from the Black frat probate, to opening Coachella with the Negro National Anthem “Lift Every Voice”, playing excerpts from Malcolm X’s “Who Taught You to Hate Yourself?” speech, and the stepping and marching band?!

And the music?!

Beyonce and her Beyta Delta Kappa band dancers milly rocking to mixes of the reggae classic “You Don’t Love Me” by Dawn Peen, Nina Simone’s “Strange Fruit”, Pastor Troy, OT Genasis’ “Everybody Mad” and Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up”.

Fans also pointed out Beyoncé’s use of Spike Lee’s “School Daze” references, New Orleans bounce music, Houston chopped n’ screwed, D.C. go-go music, and reggae. This performance was the Blackest thing to ever hit television!

And if that wasn’t enough to make us go bat sh*t crazy, Beyonce also reunited Destiny’s Child onstage and brought out husband Jay-Z and sister Solange Knowles-Ferguson for a dance duet.

If you missed her epic Coachella performance, which streamed live on YouTube, you’re in luck.
