Angelina Jolie Files For DIVORCE, Disagreements on Brad Pitt’s DRUG ABUSE & Parenting

Another Hollywood couple bites the dust…

41 year old actress Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce against her 52 year old actor hubby Brad Pitt, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The two married in 2014 after a controversial 12 year relationship, including a 2 year engagement.

Though Angelina filed for divorce on Monday, September 20, 2016, she listed the date of separation as Thursday, September 15th.

Brad and Angelina met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2004, while Brad was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston. After pictures surfaced of Brad and Angelina getting cozy on set, Brad and Jennifer announced their separation and later divorced in 2005. Since then, the love life of Brad and Angelina has been well-documented by tabloids, including the birth of “the most beautiful baby in the world” Shiloh, their twins Knox and Vivienne, as well as the adoptions of Pax, Zahara, and Maddox.

In the divorce filing, Angelina did not ask for spousal support, but she did request physical custody of all 6 children and asked that Brad be granted visitation, instead of joint physical custody. Angelina is being represented by Laura Wasser, the divorce attorney who has represented Heidi Klum, Ashton Kutcher, Johnny Depp, and Christina Aguilera.

According to TMZ, the filing came after Angelina became fed up with Brad’s method of parenting and his marijuana use:

Sources connected with the couple tell us … Angelina’s decision to file has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children … she was extremely upset with his methods.

Our sources say, Angelina became “fed up” with Brad’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is “an anger problem” … felt it became dangerous for the children.

Indeed, Angelina’s entertainment attorney Robert Offer says she made the decision “for the health of the family.”

We’re told there was no alleged “third person” … her decision to file was solely over Brad’s interaction with their children.
