After suffering attacks on social media and discrimination from designers, SNL comedian and Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones has been hacked!
Leslie’s iCloud was hacked Wednesday, and personal pictures and documents from the star’s account were leaked onto her website JustLeslie.com. Among the pictures posted to her website were nude pictures of the star laying in bed, naked selfies in front of her bathroom mirror, and pictures of Leslie engaging in sexual activity.
The hacker who attacked Leslie also posted Leslie’s documents of identification onto her site, including pictures of her passport and driver’s license. Leslie’s selfies with celebrities, such as those with 50 Cent, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West, at A-list events were also posted on the site. At the top of her website, the hacker posted a video of Harambe the gorilla being shot to death.
Her website has since been taken down.
Over the last few weeks, Leslie suffered attacks from trolls on social media who tweeted Leslie pictures of Harambe the gorilla, saying it resembled the star. Trolls also referred to Leslie as a “big lip coon”, and an “ape”:

It wasn’t just nameless trolls who attacked Leslie. Writer Milo Yiannopoulos posted a review for the Ghostbusters film and referred to Leslie as “spectacularly unappealing” and her character as “flat-as-a-pancake black stylings”. Yiannopoulos also called Leslie and her Ghostbusters costars “teenage boys with tits”. After Leslie blocked the writer, Yiannopoulos responded by saying he was “rejected by yet another Black dude”, before encouraging his followers to continue bullying Leslie on Twitter.
Leslie responded by retweeting the hate she got in the hopes that her fans would defend her. Twitter eventually deleted and banned Yiannopoulos’s account, but not before Leslie announced she would be taking a break from social media:

Back in July, Leslie saw another downturn of fame after designers refused to dress her for the Ghostbusters premiere. Reportedly, Leslie’s lack of star power and aesthetic beauty scared off designers. Leslie tweeted her disappointment and received a response from Project Runway star Christian Siriano, who offered to dress her in a gorgeous red gown for the event.
And now this. The racist and sexist attacks on Twitter left Leslie in tears. I hope she finds the strength to endure the website hack. As a fellow Memphian, I can’t express how proud her hometown is of Leslie and all that she has accomplished in her career since she first captured our hearts and laughter on BET’s Comicview.
