Tamar Braxton received her walking papers from her The Real daytime talk show over the weekend, reportedly thanks to the new executive producer, Rachel Miskowiec.
Miskowiec, who joined the show’s production team last year, reportedly axed Braxton, due to budget cuts. Being that Tamar is the star of two other television shows WeTv’s Tamar & Vince and Braxton Family Values, a topcharting singer, and has appeared on other TV shows, such as Dancing With The Stars, she would be the easiest to cut as the other hosts don’t have much else going for them financially outside of The Real and actually need the show, whereas Tamar does not.
According to Tamar’s personal assistant LeTroy Davis, who blasted the talk show on Twitter, The Real was “cheap” as hell when it came to its cohosts, especially Tamar. Davis says the show couldn’t afford a stylist for Tamar, as she had to provide her own wardrobe, make up artist, and hairstylist for the show. The Real also couldn’t afford transportation for its cohosts, whom requested a car service to and from set.
Davis also says The Real is allowing false stories about Tamar to be leaked, citing her “diva” and disruptive attitude as the reason she was axed from the show. The Real also claims the decision to cut Tamar was “mutual”:
“THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
Unfortunately, Tamar was blindsided by the news and posted on Instagram that she felt “betrayed” and was taking a break from social media:
“I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted ( not my man or my sisters) I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch (?) and it’s not in good taste to tell you who…… but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own. But know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light.
Thank GOD HE HOLDS MY FUTURE AND MY HAND! (Remember who u are)….I am Tamar Braxton. And if you thought for 1 sec u played me…..In the late great prince and the amazing Beyoncé voice you PLAYED yourself? to God be the Glory and I will be taking a short break from ALL social media…

TAMAR MADE THE MISTAKE OF ALLOWING RACHEL MISKOWIEC TO COME INTO HER HOME AND PERSONAL SPACE,TAMAR SHOULD NOT HAVE NEVER LET HER COME INTO HER PERSONAL SPACE ,MISKOWIEC WAS NOT THERE BECAUSE SHE CARED ABOUT TAMAR BUT TO USE HER TO INCREASE RATINGS , SINCE TAMAR HAS A HUGE FAN BASE, IF HER REASONING FOR FIREING TAMAR WAS BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS TOO GHETTO, WHY WERE YOU AT TAMARS HOUSE ACTING LIKE A FRIEND.
