Janet Jackson announced that she’s canceling her already delayed tour to start a family.
The 49 year old music legend launched her Unbreakable World Tour on August 31, 2015 with her first album since 2008. On December 24, she announced the tour was being postponed til May 14, 2016 due to the star having to undergo surgery. She didn’t specify what kind of surgery she required, but throat cancer rumors hit the internet and in January 2016, the star denied the rumors.
Her tour reportedly sold around 7,000 – 9,000 tickets during it’s domestic run and the European leg of the tour is possibly postponed permanently as reports alleged low ticket sales abroad stopped the tour. Perfect time to announce planning a family, right?
