He then called for Chris Rock to step down as this year’s host of the 88th Annual Academy Awards. The last time Chris Rock hosted the Oscar’s was 11 years ago. Since then, there has not been another African-American host.
In 2014, actors called out the Oscar’s for not nominating any Black actors for any major categories for awards for the 2015 ceremony. The same thing happened this year. Tyrese called for Chris Rock to make a statement on the boycott and to step down as the host. See NEXT PAGE below…
