86 year old Katherine Jackson has accused her nephew-by-marriage Trent Lamar Jackson of mental and emotional abuse, saying she’s afraid to return home. The matriarch of the famous Jackson family accompanied Rebbie Jackson, 66, on a trip to London to visit Janet Jackson, 50, who recently gave birth to her first son Eissa Al Mana on January 3, 2017.
In court documents, Katherine calls her nephew Trent “an abusive con-man” who keeps her “in a constant state of fear and confusion”, says reports. Trent lived on Katherine’s estate rent-free in her guest house and was employed as Katherine’s driver on a six-figure salary. Katherine accuses him of manipulating her out of her money and keeping her away from her children so he could control her finances.
Trent made himself Katherine’s “core custodian” says reports and accessed her bank accounts and credit cards with her consent. When Katherine called the police and her lawyer to help her fire Trent as her driver, and kick him off her property, Trent reportedly fled the scene before the deputies could arrive.
While visiting London with Rebbie and Janet, Katherine says she’s “afraid to go home with Trent there” and “fears he could physically harm her for terminating him”, says reports. Katherine was granted a temporary restraining order against Trent, pending their court hearing on March 1st.
Trent has been ordered to “return all keys, passwords and combinations to her property, and to not use her credit cards or bank accounts”, says reports. He’s also been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Katherine.
