Beyoncé’s Dance Captain, Ashley Everett got the shock of her life when fellow back up dancer, John Silver dropped to one knee and proposed to her in front of his hometown of St. Louis, MO during their stop of Bey’s Formation World Tour. Beyoncé played along, performing her “Single Ladies” track for the proposal, a song she hasn’t performed on tour since April. During the performance, Beyoncé stopped singing and handed her microphone to John, who kneeled in front of Ashley, saying,
“She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown and show you guys the epitome of a young woman that knows how to deal with all the nonsense and the BS of a St. Louis nig**.”
