The rumor mill is buzzing that 35 year old singer Letoya Luckett and 28 year old relationship guru Rob Hill, Sr. got secretly married, then divorced 2 months later. The two got engaged back in 2015, and claimed to have broken off their engagement earlier this year. 2 weeks ago, Hill sat down with DJ Quicksilva and Lil Mo of The Fam radio show and claimed he and Luckett did not get married and weren’t planning to anymore:
Lil Mo: LeToya Luckett, y’all still getting married or nah?
Rob Hill, Sr.: At this point, no.
Lil Mo: We want to know what happened.
Rob: We have a beautiful relationship, Toya and I. We’re not getting married at this point because we understand each other as friends, the right way. There’s certain things that she needs to do over there, for herself. And there’s certain things that I need to do over here. And we’ve realized that we can’t do those together, right now. What people don’t understand about love is that romance is such a small facet of it. Aside from that, relationships are not easy.
The things that happen, sometimes, in my relationships is that I’m great at picking awesome women. As I grow, it’s not the same as picking the right one for me.
I’ve never given my love and didn’t make a life long friend. I’ve never, never loved someone and broken them. I’ve never loved anybody into a position to where they were worse after we separated. That’s why you won’t hear about no drama because I don’t cheat. I’m not going to cheat. So it ain’t going to be no cheating. It’s not going to be close.

But, according to TMZ who obtained the divorce documents, the couple actually wed and was divorced by January 2016:
LeToya Luckett, one of the 4 original members of Destiny’s Child, just got a divorce … and took careful steps to stop it from getting messy in public.
Luckett and ex-hubby Rob Hillman tied the knot back in January but split after just 2 months and change. The divorce was just finalized, and according to docs it all seems pretty cordial — with such a short marriage there wasn’t much community property to divvy up.
The one celebrity difference — the clause about “Social media postings/public statements.” It states neither will make public statements about each other or “provide photos, videos, recordings or other documents” to media outlets and blogs.
