“To beg for respect diminishes our dignity” – Jada Pinkett-Smith
In recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and as a response to the lack of diversity of the Oscar’s, actress Jada Pinkett-Smith asks that we as Black people, creators, artists, and visionaries stop begging for acknowledgement and respect from any group.
