In a recent interview, Kevin Gates took a stance on the Black Lives Matter movement.
Gates says he believes “All Lives Matter” and says the only time he’s been injured due to police brutality is when he deserved it and was belligerent and verbally abusive towards law enforcement.
When asked to compare his experience to that of other Black men who’ve become victims of police brutality, Gates compared his experience with cops saying he no longer “acts like a n*gger” and engages with police respectfully. Because of this, Gates says he hasn’t had another problem with police. He also agrees with Stacey Dash on eliminating BET Network. See his interview BELOW:
