Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot outside of his Marathon clothing store, along with two other unknown victims in Los Angeles’ Hyde Park neighborhood today. According to TMZ, one of the victims reportedly died at the hospital. It has now been confirmed that person is Nipsey.
The 33 year old rapper, whose real name is Ermias Davidson Ashedom open up Marathon back in 2017, and according to TMZ, became the scene of a shooting just a few months ago in September 2018. Nipsey wasn’t present and no one was reportedly struck. Today is different. Nipsey was reportedly shot several times.
Video footage of paramedics performing what is believed to be Nipsey has surfaced from witnesses on the scene. He allegedly shot right after taking this photo with a fan:

No suspects have been identified as of yet, only word of a man fleeing in a vehicle from the scene, according to reports.
Nipsey Hussle was in the Texas Tech cheering section last night in Anaheim. He was going crazy in the final seconds of the game and talking to Red Raiders fans throughout.

Nipsey Hussle leaves being two children, a daughter Emani Asghedom and a 2 year old son Kross, he welcomed with his girlfriend of 5 years, actress Lauren London. The two recently did a spread for GQ Magazine and recorded a love games video where Lauren tested Nipsey on how well he knew her. He passed with flying colors.
Nipsey left his mark on Hip-Hop music and the culture. He will be missed.
