Mob Wives Star, Big Ang Dies At 55

Ang originally appeared in the second season of Mob Wives in 2012 as the fun-loving, sensible friend of the cast. Her ties to the mob lifestyle is through her uncle, Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi. Lombardi was the captain of New York’s Genovese crime family.

Ang also got involved in the lifestyle as an associate of a drug runner. Ang was indicted on charges after selling cocaine to undercover DEA agents and was a convicted felon. Her felon record came back to haunt her on this season of Mob Wives, causing her to lose her bar.

Her friends and castmates often sought her for counsel and to mediate between their fights. Ang was immediately dubbed the fan favorite and was given her own spinoff series titled Big Ang, which premièred later in 2012.

Since then, Ang has appeared in more reality series, including Couples Therapy and Miami Monkey. Her spinoff series documented her life as the bar owner of the Drunken Monkey in Staten Island, NY and its second location in Miami. Take a look at some of Ang’s best moments below:

Big Ang passed away rich. Rich in love from millions of fans, family and friends. May she never have to suffer in pain again.
