In a recent interview with The Guardian, 24 year old singer Tinashe discusses sexism in the music industry and colorism in the Black community. She also discussed her music industry woes, including having a song for her album swiped by Rihanna and having that album pushed back so her record label could focus on former One Direction singer Zayn Malik’s solo album.
