While correcting Twitter trolls, Jhené spilled a little tea about her marriage to Dot da Genius. Although married, Jhené tweeted she and Dot never lived together, and when asked by a fan why she left Dot for Big Sean, she responded “Never let a man disrespect u in any way. major key”:
Rapper Kid Cudi, whose career was launched by a Dot-produced track, jumped to Dot’s defense after a two year old tweet of his resurfaced, telling Jhené if she broke Dot’s heart, there’d be grave consequences:
Dot and Cudi met in 2006 and reportedly lived together while working on music. Dot produced Cudi’s first commercial single and the two have been collaborating on music ever since.
