Janet Jackson to Adopt or Use Surrogate Amid MISCARRIAGE Rumors, Refunds “Unbreakable” Tour Tickets

Earlier this month, Janet Jackson posted a video to her social media page, telling her fans the tour they’d already purchased tickets to attend had been postponed until further notice. While laying in bed, the 49 year old singer told fans she had to postpone the tour per her doctor’s orders and rest up while she and her husband Wissam Al Mana, 41, plan their family. Fans believed the star was already pregnant in the video, hence the need for mandatory bed rest.

Considering the millions of dollars that are spent just in preparation alone for a world tour, it’s unlikely a star as seasoned as Janet Jackson would risk losing so much money to plan for a child she hadn’t already conceived.

Unfortunately, considering Janet’s age and the physical demands of her career, her chances of having the rumored pregnancy result in a child is just as unlikely. Even with the help of fertility treatments, the chance of a woman Janet’s age carrying a child without miscarrying is less than 10%. Amid the rumors of a miscarriage, Janet and Wissam have now reportedly decided to adopt or seek a surrogate to produce their first child together.

“Janet postponed her tour because she is going to be adopting a child or using a surrogate to have a baby in the next couple of months,” says a source close to the star.

“She is devoted to her husband and has decided to put his needs before her own needs right now. He really wants to start a family with her.”

Initially fans weren’t going to receive refunds for the purchased tickets of the delayed tour. Ticketmaster stated the tour would be treated as a postponement and not a cancelation, therefore fans would not be receiving refunds. After fans angrily took to social media to vent their frustrations, Janet agreed to refund their money at their points of purchase.

On a lighter note, the Lifetime TV network announced the star is executive producing the a TV movie based on the life of Queenie, the first and only female gangster during the Prohibition era of the 1920s. The movie will be set in New York City and will be directed by Broadway director, Kenny Leon, known for directing The Wiz, Steel Magnolias, and A Raisin In The Sun.
